Read these!

I'm a die-hard reader.  Have been since I was young.  I was the one in my family that my mom would describe as, "She's always got her nose in a book!"  I can remember those children's books that hooked me so easily:  all of the Ramona books by Beverly Cleary, the Encyclopedia Brown series by Donald J. Sobol, The House with a Clock in its Walls by Lewis Bellairs, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis......I could go on and on.

I've kept a reading log since 2000.  Yep.  Every book I've read for the last 18 years is listed chronologically in a colorful little notebook with a watercolor Monet design that I probably picked up at a Barnes & Noble who knows when. How's that for a peek into my - we'll just call it fastidious - nature?

So, I thought I'd add a page to my blog of book must-reads.  These are the books that are my go-to suggestions whenever anyone asks for a book recommendation.  If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll see a fun book cover photo montage of books I've read within the last year or so.  (Not necessarily recommendations - just what I've been reading lately)

I'll add to this list as I discover more must reads, and I'll update the "Books I've Recently Read" section weekly or monthly (depending on how quickly I'm reading!)  So without further ado and in no particular order, these are my suggestions:
